KUALA LUMPUR, 29 November 2015 –Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) successfully concluded its biggest Ekspo Rumah PR1MA to-date at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur held for three consecutive days with a record of over 50,000 visitors.
Ekspo Rumah PR1MA @ Kuala Lumpur gathered 84 developers under one roof, showcasing a total of 98 PR1MA projects, and was officiated by the Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat (YAB) Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak on 27 November 2015.
Event highlights included the balloting session for two developments in Klang Valley as well as presentation of Letter of Offer to successful homebuyers of PR1MA @ Kuala Ketil project.
The PR1MA projects which were balloted throughout the three-day event are as listed below:

On the same occasion, PR1MA entered into a strategic partnership agreement with PERMATA Division under the Prime Minister’s Department which would positively contribute towards the development of PR1MA homes community.
This partnership would see the formation of PERMATA PR1MA quality childcare and community programme in selected PR1MA developments.
On the second day of the Ekspo Rumah PR1MA @ Kuala Lumpur, Yang Berhormat Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, the Minister of Youth and Sports visited the booth and balloted for PR1MA @ Alam Damai project. On the third day, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dr. Ali Hamsa, Chairman of PR1MA visited the booth and balloted for PR1MA @ Alam Damai project.
Chief Executive Officer of PR1MA, Dato' Abdul Mutalib Alias said "We are pleased with the overwhelming response from the public in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley throughout the three-day Ekspo Rumah PR1MA 2015. The exhibition is important for us to provide exposure and more detailed information about our products and services that is beneficial to the public, especially the middle-income earners”.
PR1MA is optimistic of achieving its mandate on time with some 65,000 units of its affordable homes currently under construction across the country with many more to start construction as soon as we receive the necessary approvals.
These homes are in various stages of construction and it is estimated that 10,000 units of PR1MA homes, which will be sold at an average of 20% below market prices, will be completed next year.
Under the National Housing Agenda, PR1MA, which was established in 2012, has been mandated to build 500,000 units of market quality affordable homes for the middle income earners, nationwide.
Abdul Mutalib said the 65,000 units of home it is building at the moment, within 2.5 years of operations, is indeed commendable when compared to the country’s industry average of between 50,000 and 80,000 homes of various categories, build by various developers, in a year.
“Looking at the numbers alone, PR1MA is by far has become the largest property developer in the country. We are very much aware of the challenges ahead of us and we are taking all these in stride.”
“PR1MA was established for the good of the rakyat. Hopefully we will succeed not only in providing homes for the people but also, by the sheer magnitude of our project, play a significant part in making the paradigm shift in the country’s property sector,” he added.
To date, PR1MA’s board or Members of Corporation (MOC), have approved a total of 190 projects nationwide, comprising of 227,776 units of PR1MA homes.
Out of the total units, 6,172 unitsare located in Kuala Lumpurand 4,636 units are already in various stages construction. A total of 34,567 units are located in Selangorand 5,081 units of these already in various stages of construction thus far.
