Encik Zulkarnain Zainuddin is presently the Chief Operating Officer at PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. Prior to this appointment, he held the role of Head of Development Division. He previously served as the Vice President of Project Business Development upon joining PR1MA in 2015. Under his purview, Encik Zulkarnain oversees the development as well as the sales and marketing of PR1MA projects.

Encik Zulkarnain began his career at Renong Berhad and UEM Group of Companies in 1997. He then joined Ernst & Young Advisory Services as a Risk and Business Solution Manager in 2007 before a stint in Penang serving Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) as Vice President of the Chief Executive Office in 2010. Prior to joining PR1MA, he was the Associate Director of Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU).

He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree in Finance from Massey University, New Zealand on a scholarship from Renong Berhad. With over 24 years of experience servicing in various sectors and entities, from conglomerates to audit firms and government agencies; generally focusing on infrastructure development, property, construction, and agriculture, Encik Zulkarnain plays an integral role in streamlining the core commercial strategy and operations of PR1MA.
