Dato’ Wan Hashimi Albakri Wan Ahmad Amin Jaffri was appointed as a Member of Corporation (MOC) on 16 November 2021. The appointment was made with the aim of streamlining and enhancing corporate governance practices to ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity of the Group.

A no stranger in the field of general management, property development, construction, building materials and design as well as asset management, Dato’ Wan Hashimi Albakri has held various leadership roles such as at General Lumber Construction Sdn Bhd, Irat Management Services Sdn Bhd, Putrajaya Holdings, Putrajaya Homes Sdn Bhd as well as Negara Properties (M) Bhd.

He had also dedicated his career over 15 years with Sime Darby Property Berhad where he has advanced rapidly through different business and operations roles within the company since his tenure back in 2008. His key achievements in the Group includes achieving RM3 billion sales for Sime Darby Property Berhad as he sits as Acting CEO & COO Township Development, he was also appointed Director of Battersea Power Station Holdings Co. Ltd. including its subsidiaries: Battersea Power Station Development Co. Ltd and Battersea Power Station Estate. He was also the Exco Chairman of Battersea Power Station Development Co. Ltd and Director of Sime Darby (Hong Kong) Ltd.

Besides that, Dato’ Wan Hashimi Albakri is also affiliated with Construction Industry Development (CIDB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Perbadanan Kampong Bharu and Past Chairman of REHDA Wilayah Persekutuan.

A decorated corporate-man, Dato’ Wan Hashimi holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kingston University, United Kingdom. Besides his corporate suit, he also attends training locally and overseas including Senior Management Development Programme by INSEAD and Harvard Business School. He was also a Panel Speaker and Moderator at the 20th National & Property Summit 2017. Besides holding the position as PR1MA’s MoC, Dato’ Wan Hashimi also holds the hat as the Senior Advisor – New Venture, Strategic Investment & Project at Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad.
