Encik Azhar Ahmad Zaki is presently the Head of Finance Division at PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. Prior to helming the position, he was the Acting Vice President of the Corporate Finance Department from June 2019 to May 2020. Under his purview, Encik Azhar oversees the accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collection and credit control, Annual Statutory Audited Accounts, monthly management accounts, project expenditure report as well as planning and managing the cash flow in PR1MA.

Encik Azhar started his career in accounting & finance with Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PjH), a subsidiary of KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd, as an executive in the Accounts & Finance Department. He was then promoted to Manager of the Finance Department, before he joined Iskandar Development Management Services Sdn Bhd (IDMS), a subsidiary of Iskandar Investment Berhad in 2009. During his stint at IDMS in Johor Bharu, Encik Azhar was the Vice President of Corporate Planning, Finance & Accounts who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. He was tasked to oversee the costing on new project proposals, budget, business plan and corporate planning as well as managing cash flow and financial reporting amongst others. He then returned to Selangor in 2011 and joined an ICT company NuSuara Technologies Sdn Bhd (NuSuara), as its Financial Controller.

Encik Azhar holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Combined Studies with Accounting from De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), United Kingdom since July 2017.
