YBhg Datuk Wira M Noor Azman bin Taib was appointed as a
Member of Corporation (MOC) on 2 February 2022.
YBhg Datuk Wira M Noor Azman is the Secretary General for the
Ministry of Housing and Local Government. He started his career as Assistant
Secretary, Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transportation. He has held
several other positions in the Public Service including as Deputy
Secretary-General (Development), Ministry of Federal Territories in 2016 and Deputy
Secretary-General (Management), Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2018, then
appointed as the ministry’s Secretary-General in 2020. As of now, he is currently
the Secretary-General for the Ministry of Housing and Local Government
Development since 2021.
YBhg Datuk Wira M Noor Azman has served as a civil servant
for more than 25 years. As a sign of appreciation for his service to the
country, he was bestowed the Darjah Kebesaran Bintang dan Pingat Wilayah
Persekutuan, Kesatria Mahkota Wilayah (KMW) in 2011, Pingat Perkhidmatan
Cemerlang (PPC) in 2012, Darjah Kebesaran Negeri Kedah Darul Aman, Setia DiRaja
Kedah in 2017 and Darjah Kebesaran Bintang, Pingat Wilayah Persekutuan,
Panglima Mahkota Wilayah also in 2017, Darjah Kebesaran Dato’ Setia Sultan
Sallehuddin Kedah (D.S.S.S) and Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (D.C.S.M) which
carries the title “Datuk Wira” in 2023.
YBhg Datuk Wira M Noor Azman is a graduate of University of
Malaya with a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science (Hons) in Urban Studies and
Planning. He then pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology
Management at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2004.
Apart from holding the position as a Member of Corporation
of PR1MA, YBhg. Datuk Wira M Noor Azman is currently the Chairman of Exco for
Economy under the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service Association
and has served as Chairman of Exco for Strategic Communication for the term
2020-2022.
